Cookie preferences

Choose which optional technologies you allow. Essential ones keep the site working and secure, so they can’t be switched off. See the Cookie Policy for details.

  • Essential

    Always active

    Keeps the site secure and working, protects the enquiry form (Cloudflare), and remembers your theme, view and this cookie choice.

  • Helps us measure, in aggregate, which pages are visited and at which step the form is left unfinished (Google Analytics). Not used for advertising; your name, email and phone number are never sent to Google. Data may be transferred to the United States.

  • Shows YouTube videos and Google Maps on the page. When on, Google may use cookies and similar technologies, and your data may be transferred outside your country. When off, this content loads only when you click it, for that one time.

We don’t use advertising or marketing cookies.

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. About this policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (browser storage, embedded content and measurement scripts) used on ardinartwinecellars.com: what they are, why we use them, how long they last and how you can change your choice.

How we handle personal data more generally is explained in our Privacy Policy: Privacy Policy.

2. Who we are

ARDINART Wine Cellars is the brand of ARDİNART SOĞUTMA SİSTEMLERİ SAN. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ., a limited company registered in Türkiye.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage do a similar job: information is kept in your browser. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until you clear it. The rules below apply to all of them.

First-party items are set by this site. Third-party items are set for another service, such as Google Analytics or YouTube.

4. Categories

Category Purpose Your choice
Essential Security, protecting the enquiry form, remembering the theme and view you picked, remembering your cookie choice Always on. Strictly necessary for a service you request, so no consent is needed.
Analytics Visit statistics with Google Analytics 4 Off by default; only with your consent
External media Showing YouTube videos and Google Maps on the page Off by default. Turn it on in Preferences, or click a video or map to load it once.

We do not use advertising, marketing or retargeting cookies.

How we ask:

  • optional categories start off;
  • "Accept all" and "Essential only" are equally visible, on the first screen;
  • scrolling, browsing or closing the notice is not consent;
  • refusing does not stop you using the site;
  • you can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, through Cookie preferences in the footer.

5. What this site uses

This list was taken from the site's code on 16 October 2026 and from the providers' documentation. Third parties can change their own cookies, so this list can change.

5.1 Essential

Name Type Set by Purpose Duration
ardinart:theme Local storage Ardinart (first party) Remembers your light/dark theme Until you clear it

__cf_bm Cookie (HTTP) Cloudflare, Inc. Tells human visitors from malicious bots (security) 30 minutes
cf_clearance Cookie (HTTP) Cloudflare, Inc. Remembers that you passed a security check; set only if a check is shown Depends on the Cloudflare setting; default 30 minutes
_cfuvid Cookie (HTTP) Cloudflare, Inc. Distinguishes visitors for rate-limiting rules; set only if such a rule is on Session
Cloudflare Turnstile Script (not a cookie) Cloudflare, Inc. Protects the enquiry form from bots. Loads only when you start using the form. According to Cloudflare it sets no cookies; it processes browser and device signals. —

Cloudflare sits in front of the site for security and content delivery (CDN). On every page request, your IP address and request data (address requested, browser type, time) are processed on Cloudflare's servers worldwide, including in the United States. Which Cloudflare cookies are set depends on its configuration.

5.2 Analytics (with your consent)

Google Analytics 4 (GA4, measurement ID G-3XJZ17ZDT1) loads only after you allow Analytics. Until then the GA4 script is not downloaded at all and no measurement request reaches Google (Google Consent Mode v2, "basic" set-up).

Name Type Set by Purpose Duration
_ga Cookie (on our domain) Google LLC (GA4) Distinguishes visitors with a random ID 2 years
_ga_3XJZ17ZDT1 Cookie (on our domain) Google LLC (GA4) Keeps session state 2 years

What you should know about GA4:

  • What we measure: pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location (country/city), and these events: button clicks, clicks on WhatsApp or phone links, use of the project filter, form steps and errors, and a submitted enquiry (form type, type of space and solution, role, language). Your name, email, phone number and message are never sent to Google.
  • IP addresses: according to Google, GA4 does not log or store IP addresses; the IP is used only to derive approximate location and is then discarded.
  • No advertising: Google Signals, ads personalisation, Google Ads linking and Google's data-sharing settings are off. Google acts as our processor under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms.
  • Retention at Google: event-level data is deleted after 2 months.
  • Transfers: data is processed on Google servers, including in the United States (see §7).
  • Opting out: switch off Analytics under "Cookie preferences" in the footer; measurement stops and the _ga cookies are deleted. You can also use Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5.3 External media (with your consent)

What Provider When it loads What may happen
YouTube video via youtube-nocookie.com (privacy-enhanced mode) Google Ireland Ltd. (EEA/Switzerland) or Google LLC (elsewhere) Only when you click "Play video", or if you allowed External media (the player then loads by itself, without autoplay) During playback Google may use cookies and similar technologies (for example yt-remote-* and ytidb::* browser storage). Your IP address and device details reach Google.
Google Maps embed Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC Only when you click "Load map", or if you allowed External media Google may use cookies (for example NID) and similar technologies. Your IP address reaches Google.

When loaded, Google processes this data under its own privacy policy and as its own controller: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5.4 What we don't use

No advertising pixels, retargeting, social media plug-ins or fingerprinting. Fonts and images are served from our own server. Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp are plain links: nothing loads from them until you click.

6. Rules by region

We apply the same standard to every visitor: optional technologies stay off until you choose.

European Union / EEA. Storing or reading information on your device needs your consent unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for (ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, Art. 5(3), as implemented in each member state). Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, and as easy to withdraw as to give (GDPR Art. 4(11) and Art. 7). Analytics and external-media data is then processed on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); Cloudflare security processing relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).

United Kingdom. The same approach under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), reg. 6, and the UK GDPR. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 adds some new exemptions, for example for certain statistical analytics. We do not rely on them: analytics stays consent-based for UK visitors too.

United States. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA and in similar state laws. Google Analytics and Cloudflare act as our service providers. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out: analytics starts off and "Accept all" does not switch it on, whatever your state; you can still switch it on yourself in Preferences. Because we do not sell or share, we do not show a separate "Do Not Sell or Share" link; if that changes, we will add one before the change takes effect.

Brazil. Under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) we rely on your consent (Art. 7, I) for analytics and external media and on legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX) for essential security cookies, in line with the ANPD's guidance on cookies (2022). You can revoke consent at any time (Art. 8, §5).

Türkiye and other countries. Turkish visitors are covered by the Turkish Cookie Policy (Çerez Politikası) under Law No. 6698 (KVKK). For other South American countries (for example Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay) and elsewhere, we apply the same consent-first approach.

7. International transfers

The site is hosted on servers in Türkiye (Veridyen). Cloudflare and Google process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. For EU and UK visitors, Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc. rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension), with the Standard Contractual Clauses in their data processing terms as a fallback. See "International transfers" in the Privacy Policy.

8. How to change your choice

  • Use Cookie preferences in the site footer at any time.
  • You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking essential items may stop the form or the theme setting from working.
  • We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we add a new optional category.

9. Your rights

Where cookie data is personal data, you have the rights described in the Privacy Policy (for example access, deletion and objection), and you can complain to your data protection authority.

10. Changes

When we add a new cookie or service we update this policy and the date above. If we add a new optional category, we ask for your consent again.
